In 2018, he graduated from residency in the U.S. Army Advanced Education Program in Periodontics at Fort Gordon, Georgia, with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Periodontics. After completing his residency, he served as Chief of Periodontics for the Fort Drum, New York, Dental Health Activity, where he treated the Soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division and was promoted to Major.
