Dr. Robertson came to Hampton Roads from South Carolina to do her residency at CHKD/EVMS thinking she would get a great education and move back to her small hometown. Instead, she fell in love with the area, met her husband-to-be and has made Chesapeake her home for the past 20 years. "One of the reasons I chose to come to Eastern Virginia was the climate and the water, " says Dr. Robertson. "We live on the river and love making trips to both Virginia and North Carolina beaches. I couldn't find a better place to call home."
